How Avoma’s deal win-loss analysis works

Understanding why you win or lose deals helps your team improve future outcomes. With Avoma’s AI-powered win-loss analysis, your CRM is automatically updated with clear Why We Won or Why We Lost reasons when a deal is marked Closed Won or Closed Lost. This article explains where to find this feature in Avoma, what you need to use it, and how to get started.

How to find win-loss analysis in Avoma

1. Open the sidebar and click Revenue Intelligence.

    2. Open win-loss analysis
    Under deal intelligence, select Win-Loss Analysis to view AI-generated win-loss insights for your closed deals.

    3. Interpreting win-loss analysis results
    When you open the win-loss analysis tab, you will see two parts:

    Win-loss overview:
    At the top, you’ll see a summary of your total closed deals for the selected time period (like the last 30 days). This shows the split between Closed Won and Closed Lost, your overall win rate percentage, and a trend chart showing win-loss performance for the last 12 months. This gives you a quick view of how your team is performing.

    Deal-level details:
    When you scroll down, you’ll see individual deals with detailed AI summaries explaining exactly why you won or lost each one. For each deal, Avoma highlights key reasons — for example, needs identification, solution fit, or integration gaps — and supports them with real context pulled from your meetings, calls, and emails.
