Creating a Playlist

Create a playlist or a Smart Playlist to curate the best moments from conversations across functions, and enable faster learning.

How to Create a Static Playlist

With the static playlist, you can add recordings and Snippets to the playlist manually.

  1. From the left hand navigation, click on the Playlists Tab.
  2. Click on the +Create New Playlist button in the top right hand corner.
  3. Add the Playlist Name of your desired playlist.
  4. Keep the Playlist Type as Static Playlist.
  5. Set your Access Permissions.
    • Private should be used when you want only subscribers and people invited via Email to view the playlist. Signing in to Avoma, or requesting a one-time access code is required to view it.
    • Organization should be used when anyone from your organization and people invited via Email can view the playlist. Signing in to Avoma, or requesting a one-time access code is required to view it.
    • Public should be used where Anyone on the internet with the link, anyone from the Avoma organization, and people invited via Email can view the playlist. Signing in to Avoma, or requesting an access code is NOT required view it.Modify the Access Permission as needed.
  6. Click on Create Static Playlist.

NOTE: Add an optional Description for the playlist if you desire to tell your team what the playlist is about.

 


How to Create a Smart Playlist

Within the Smart Playlist, you can match a set of selected filters to find meeting and call recordings which will automatically be added to a playlist.

  1. From the left hand navigation, click on the Playlists Tab.
  2. Click on the +Create New Playlist button in the top right hand corner.
  3. Add the Playlist Name of your desired playlist.
  4. Change the Playlist Type to  Smart Playlist. The side bar will open with the available filters. 
  5. Set your Access Permission. See Above for details
  6. Add the Filter criteria (Smart Rules) you want used in creating your Smart Playlist

    You must select at least one smart rule to automatically add Meetings and Call Recordings.

    Search for a keyword, Smart Categories, Team & Member, Companies, Purposes, Outcomes, Stages During, Stages Now, Call Types, Amount Now, More Filters

  7. Determine whether you want your Smart Playlist to include Only future recordings or All past and future Recordings.
    • Only future recordings - Recordings will be added from the date that the Smart Playlist is created.
    • All past & future recordings -  All past recordings matching the filters of the smart playlist will be considered. And, all future recordings matching the filters of the smart playlist will be considered. Note that any changes made to any past recordings after the smart playlist is created, will NOT be added to the playlist automatically. 
    • Click on Create Smart Playlist.

If All past & future recordings settings is enabled, items that have been removed will be re-added into the smart playlist.

If you wish to remove items from your smart playlist, first enable All past & future recordings to create your smart playlist, and once all items have been added, change the setting to Only future recordings moving forward

 


Refreshing Smart Playlist Items

If you need to update a playlist you can do so and make modifications to it.

  1. Find the playlist which you would like to modify.
  2. Click the the three-dots, then Edit to open up the Playlist Details.

  3. Within the playlist you can update the existing items based upon the updates you make within the filters. With the check box clicked, you can the items within the playlist would be added to or replaced by items that meet the new criteria.
