How to embed a Scheduling page on your website

Let visitors book directly from your website — no redirects, no friction. Left navigation → Scheduling → [Your scheduling page] → Embed

You can embed any standalone scheduling page directly on your website. Instead of sending visitors to a separate Avoma-hosted page, the scheduling widget appears as part of your site — keeping visitors in a familiar environment and making it easier for them to book time with you.

Before you begin

  • You must have the Scheduler or Lead Router add-on to access scheduling pages.
  • You need access to the HTML of the website where you want to embed the widget.
  • The scheduling page must already be created in Avoma before you can generate embed code.

Avoma offers two embedding options:

  • Inline — the scheduling widget loads directly on the page as part of the page layout.
  • Popup — a button on your page triggers the scheduling widget to appear as an overlay when clicked.

How to embed a scheduling page

Step 1: Open the scheduling page you want to embed

In the left navigation, click Scheduling. Open the scheduling page you want to embed.

Step 2: Get the embed code

In the top right corner of the scheduling page, click Embed.

Step 3: In the Embed instructions modal, choose your embedding option:

      • Inline
The inline embed loads the scheduling widget as a fixed element on the page. Visitors can see and interact with it without any additional clicks. This works well for dedicated “Book a meeting” pages or landing pages where scheduling is the primary action.
      • Popup
The popup embed adds a button to your page. When a visitor clicks the button, the scheduling widget appears as an overlay on top of the current page. This is useful when you want to offer scheduling as a secondary action without taking up space in the page layout.
Click Copy to copy the code snippet after selecting your preferred option.

Step 4: Add the code to your website

Open the HTML of the page where you want the widget to appear.

Paste the copied code into the appropriate location in the HTML.

    • For an inline embed, paste the code where you want the widget to appear in the page layout.
    • For a popup embed, paste the code where you want the button to appear, then customize the button label if needed.

Tip: If you’re using a website builder (such as Webflow, WordPress, or Squarespace), look for an “Embed” or “Custom HTML” block and paste the code there.

Frequently asked questions

Can I embed multiple scheduling pages on the same website?

Yes. You can generate separate embed codes for different scheduling pages and add each one to different pages on your site.

Will the embedded widget update automatically if I change my scheduling page settings?

Yes. The embed code links to your scheduling page in Avoma. Any changes you make to the scheduling page — such as availability, meeting duration, or questions — will be reflected in the embedded widget automatically. You do not need to update the embed code.

Can I customize the appearance of the embedded widget?

The widget inherits the styling defined in your Avoma scheduling page. Custom CSS styling of the widget itself is not currently supported within the embed code.

Which scheduling pages can be embedded?

Any standalone scheduling page you have created in Avoma can be embedded. This feature is available to users with the Scheduler or Lead Router add-on.

What’s next

  • Test the embedded widget by visiting your webpage and completing a test booking.
  • Share the page URL with your team so they can verify the experience end-to-end.
  • Consider using the popup option on high-traffic pages where you want to offer scheduling without disrupting the page layout.

Recap

You’ve embedded a scheduling page on your website and know how to choose between an inline widget and a popup depending on your page layout.
