      How to Start Sharing

      Step 1: Select Conversations and Snippets to Share

      Access Your Meetings in Avoma

      • Log into your Avoma account and navigate to your Past meeting recordings.
      • Choose an entire conversation, or highlight a specific snippet of a call that you want to share.


      • Click the "Share" icon and select the appropriate Slack channel. Customize the message if needed and hit 'Share to Slack'

       

      Ideas and Examples 

      1. Weekly Team Meetings

        • Scenario: You’ve had a productive weekly meeting discussing key team updates.
        • Action: Share the entire meeting conversation to that team's Slack channel to keep everyone, including those who couldn't attend the call, informed and accountable. 

      2. Key Client Calls

        • Scenario: During a client call, crucial feedback and action items were discussed.
        • Action: Highlight and share the specific snippets of the conversation containing the feedback and action items to an internal  Slack channel for immediate visibility and next steps.

      3. Enhancement Requests

        • Scenario: Feature requests are discussed during a customer call that would improve the overall user experience
        • Action: Share relevant snippets from this meeting to a dedicated feature request channel to ensure full details and voice-of-customer context is shared internally

       

      Tips for Getting Started

      • Create Dedicated Channels

        • Create specific channels for different types of meetings or projects to keep discussions organized and contextually relevant.

      • Encourage Team Participation

        • Foster a culture of active engagement by encouraging team members to comment and discuss shared conversations directly in Slack.

      • Regularly Review Shared Content

        • Schedule regular reviews of shared conversations and snippets to ensure follow-ups on action items and continuous team alignment.

       

      Please note: To share insights from Avoma to Slack, your admin must connect your Slack workspace. 

      Admin Setup - Connecting Avoma to Slack

      1. Navigate to Avoma Integrations

        • Go to your Avoma account settings, then select Integrations 
        • In the "Integrations" section, select "Slack"

      2. Authorize Slack Access

        • Click "Connect to Slack"
        • Follow the prompts to authorize Avoma to access your Slack workspace
