How fast does Avoma generate meeting notes?

Avoma Bot recording ensures your meetings are captured automatically and generates notes within 2 minutes after the meeting ends.

It provides AI-generated notes for your meetings, with availability depending on how the meeting is recorded:

  • Bot recordings: Notes are ready within 2 minutes after the meeting ends.
  • Cloud recordings: Notes are generated once the recording is made available by the cloud provider (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

For the fastest experience, we recommend using Avoma Bot recordings.

How Avoma Instant Notes work

  • Avoma Bot joins the meeting, records the session, and generates notes within 2 minutes after the meeting ends.
  • Cloud recordings are supported, but timing depends on when the provider shares the file, which can take longer.
  • If your CRM is connected, Avoma logs these notes into the correct records without manual effort.

How to enable Bot recording in Avoma

Instant Notes are available only with Bot recordings. To enable this feature:

1. Go to your Recording & Conferencing Settings.

2. Under Conferencing app preferences, find your connected conferencing app.

3. Click Configure under the conferencing app.

4. In the configuration window, choose Avoma Assistant (Bot) as your recording method.
  • Example for Zoom: You’ll see options for Zoom Cloud or Avoma Assistant (Bot). Select the Bot option to enable instant notes within ~2 minutes of the meeting ending.

5. Save your changes.

Please Note: If no conferencing system is connected, Avoma will default to using the Bot to record your meetings.

Once enabled, all meetings recorded by the Bot will automatically generate notes within minutes.
