How to integrate Outreach with Avoma

By integrating Outreach with Avoma, all your Outreach calls are automatically recorded, transcribed, and analyzed.

By integrating Outreach with Avoma, all your Outreach calls are automatically recorded, transcribed, and analyzed.

This integration ensures that every conversation is:

  • Captured in full with searchable transcripts.
  • Summarized into structured notes with action items and questions.
  • Enriched with conversation insights like talk ratios, topics discussed, and coaching opportunities.

Together, Outreach and Avoma give your team complete visibility into sales conversations and help streamline follow-ups directly in your CRM.

Step 1: Connect Outreach with Avoma

1. In your Avoma dashboard, go to Settings → Dialer Settings.

2. Click Connect to Outreach.

3. Authorize Avoma to access your Outreach calls.

4. After successful authorization, you’ll see your Outreach account connected in Avoma.

Step 2: Enable Call Recording in Outreach

This step is mandatory for the integration to work.

1. Log in to Outreach.

Please ensure that the email used to sign up for Avoma matches the email associated with your Outreach account (and any other systems being integrated). This alignment is required for proper authorization and seamless syncing.

2. Click your profile initials in the bottom-left corner.
3. Select You → Voice.
4. Toggle on Automatically record all outgoing calls. If this option is missing, contact your Outreach Admin to confirm call recording is enabled for the organization.

Please Note : Call Recording must be enabled in Outreach for Avoma to pull and process calls. Without this, no calls will be transcribed or analyzed. See Outreach’s detailed guide on Enabling Call Recording.

Invite your team

If you’d like your team’s Outreach calls to be analyzed in Avoma:

  • In your Avoma dashboard, go to Settings → Users.
  • Navigate to Members
  • Click Invite Users and enter your team members’ emails and select a License type and add-on for them.

Each user connecting Outreach will need a paid Recorder Seat in Avoma. Free or Viewer seats do not support dialer integrations. Learn more about Recorder Seats, Free Users, and Add-Ons here.

Once invited, each team member must complete the setup individually by:

  • Signing up for or logging in to their Avoma account.
  • Connecting their Outreach account in Dialer Settings (see Step 1 and Step 2).
