How to Remove Avoma Notetaker (Bot) from a Meeting

How to stop recording an in-progress meeting

If you are on a call and someone determines it should not be recorded for whatever reason, there are a couple ways to stop the recording while the meeting is in session.

Stopping the Recording

For an in-progress meeting which is recorded using the Avoma Bot, the meeting status in Avoma will say, "Recording Now." To stop recording the meeting, you can click on the meeting status and click on Stop Recording Now. The Avoma Bot will drop from the meeting within 10 seconds.

Kicking out the Bot

Alternatively, while in the meeting screen, you can see the Avoma Assistant as a participant. If you hover over the bot participant, you can see the option to "Remove Avoma Assistant" which will remove the bot immediately and the call will no longer be recorded.

NOTE: If the Bot was erroneously removed, you can invite it back  by Recording an Impromptu Meeting.
