Microsoft Integration - Workspace wide connection
Leverage Microsoft Admin Consent workflow, enabling seamless onboarding and automatic calendar and email integration for all users in your Microsoft environment.
This article provides step-by-step guidance for Microsoft Admins to configure workspace wide connection with Microsoft for Avoma. By enabling this integration, Avoma can seamlessly access and manage Calendar and Email scopes for all users across the organization. This eliminates the need for individual users to connect their Microsoft accounts, streamlining connection management and administrative controls directly from the admin interface.
Prerequisites
To successfully establish a connection, you must be one of the following Azure AD roles:- Global Administrator (recommended)
- Cloud Application Administrator
- Application Administrator ( Should have ability to approve Calendar , Mail , Groups scopes )
Steps to Connect
- Navigate to the Organization section, select Integrations, and then choose Microsoft Workspace click on Configure
- On the Workspace connection tab, click on Connect Microsoft Workspace.
- This will open a pop up window requesting your Microsoft Tenant ID, you can fetch your tenant id from Azure portal
- Follow the steps to allow access to Avoma Admin Connect app
- You should be able to see Google Workspace connected for the Authorized scopes on the Workspace connection tab.
Manage Existing Connections
Manage existing members
To manage settings for active Avoma users, go to the Members tab. Here, admins can enable or disable specific functionality for each user based on the organization-level scopes.
- Calendar and Email sync for every user can be managed by toggling either Calendar Connection or Sync emails from Outlook button
- Sending of email functionality will be on by default if Email scopes were provided on the org level
NOTE: The Sync Email feature is available exclusively to users with a Revenue Intelligence license. This functionality will be disabled for users who do not have the appropriate license.
Disconnect Microsoft Admin Connection
To disconnect the Microsoft Workspace integration, click the Disconnect button on the Workspace connection tab.
